Different Dolphin Sounds

"As we discover more about these fascinating creatures, my curiosity continues to grow. Below is a glimpse of the various forms of communication we've encountered. Our main focus is to document their communication during food hunting, particularly when they engage in 'stranding' feeding."

Panacea Adventures Dolphin Research

Panacea Adventures offers more than just dolphin tours, Blue Angel Tours, and yacht deliveries. We dedicate countless hours to searching for and observing dolphins in their natural environment. With hundreds of trips under our belt, we've closely studied their movements, behaviors, and even their recent communication patterns, fostering a deep connection with these incredible creatures.  Before obtaining communication equipment, we witnessed an intriguing hunting strategy known as "stranding," where dolphins collaborate to encircle fish and drive them onto the shore for feeding. Now equipped with communication recording tools, we aim to capture the interactions between dolphins during these feeding events. Additionally, we are exploring the dynamics of motherhood and surrogate mothers in raising young dolphins, examining the contributions of each. Another area of our research focuses on uni-hemispheric slow wave sleep, where dolphins alternate which side of their brain sleeps, allowing them to remain alert to potential threats while resting.

Currently, all our research has been self-funded, and we are seeking partners to join us in this exciting endeavor.
